Google Play Data Deletion Requirement

We respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your Casto IPTV account and all associated data, please follow the instructions below.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon account deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed:

If You Signed In with Google:

  • Your Firebase Authentication record (Google Sign-In link)
  • Firebase Analytics data associated with your user ID
  • Any anonymized crash reports linked to your session

Note on Subscriptions:

  • Subscription purchase records are managed by Google Play, not by us. Deleting your Casto IPTV account does not cancel your subscription or remove Google Play purchase history.

What Data Is Stored Locally

The following data is stored only on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the app or clearing app data:

  • IPTV playlist URLs and provider credentials
  • Favorites and watch history
  • App settings and preferences

Option 1: Delete Local Data (No Account Required)

If you did not sign in with Google, all your data is stored locally on your device. You can delete it instantly:

  • From Android Settings: Go to Settings → Apps → Casto IPTV → Storage → Clear Data
  • Uninstall the App: Uninstalling removes all local data permanently

This immediately deletes all playlists, favorites, watch history, settings, and preferences. No request to us is needed.

Option 2: Request Account Deletion (If You Signed In with Google)

If you signed in with Google, your authentication is managed by Firebase. To request deletion of this data, contact us:

Processing Time

Your deletion request will be processed within 30 days of receipt, in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.

Important Notes

  • Active Subscriptions: If you have an active premium subscription, please cancel it through Google Play before requesting account deletion to avoid future charges. We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
  • Non-Recoverable: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • Local Data: To completely remove all traces of the app, clear the app data or uninstall Casto IPTV from your device.
  • Google Play Purchase History: Your Google Play purchase records are retained by Google and are not affected by account deletion with us.
