Terms of Service — Casto IPTV

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Casto IPTV ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Casto IPTV is a generic media player application for Android devices running Android 7.0 (API level 24) or higher. The App allows users to play media content from playlist URLs (M3U/M3U8) and IPTV services (Xtream Codes API) that the user independently obtains and configures. The App does not provide, host, stream, store, curate, or distribute any media content, channels, movies, series, or live television streams. All content accessed through the App is sourced entirely from third-party providers chosen and configured by the user.

3. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Obtaining legal rights and valid subscriptions to any content you access through the App
  • Ensuring that your use of third-party content complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and the terms of service of the content provider
  • The accuracy and legality of any playlist URL, IPTV service credentials, or EPG source you enter into the App
  • Any content accessed, streamed, or viewed through the App

4. Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use the App to:

  • Access pirated, unauthorized, or illegally distributed content
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights, copyrights, or trademarks of any third party
  • Distribute, share, or publicly perform content without proper authorization
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Circumvent digital rights management (DRM) or content protection measures

5. No Content Affiliation

The App has no affiliation with, endorsement of, or responsibility for any third-party IPTV provider, content source, streaming service, or media distributor. The ability to enter a URL or credentials into the App does not constitute endorsement or verification of the content available at that source.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

The App offers optional Premium subscription plans through Google Play. Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's Terms of Service.

  • You may manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Refund requests are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy.
  • Deleting your Casto IPTV account does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through Google Play.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, branding, and user interface are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the App without explicit written permission.

8. No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee:

  • Compatibility with any specific IPTV service, content provider, or media format
  • Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation
  • The availability, quality, or legality of any third-party content

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the App
  • Any content accessed, streamed, or viewed through the App
  • Any third-party services, providers, or content sources
  • Unauthorized access to your data or credentials
  • Any interruption, error, or data loss

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the appropriate jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
